WHERE DO WE SHOOT?
Maternity sessions - I offer at home and on location maternity sessions, or we have the option to do both!
Newborn Sessions - I offer at home newborn sessions to capture the lifestyle of you and your growing family. We can capture everyone together or just focus on your new babe.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Maternity sessions - most importantly, be comfortable! You want to feel good and be happy in your clothing for your session, I always recommend trying outfits on and moving around in them beforehand. Choose outfits that accentuates and highlights your baby bump! If dad and kids are joining I always recommend coordinating outfits by colors.
Newborn sessions - outfits are 100% up to you and how you would like to capture your little one! We can shoot naked, swaddled, clothed, or all of the above! We will chat about this beforehand and go over what you are envisioning!
WHO CAN COME?
Whoever you would like to have at your session! Maternity sessions can focus on just mom, mom and dad, or the whole family. This is your moment to capture and we will include the people you want to be surrounded by.
DO YOU PROVIDE PROPS?
I do not provide props but I welcome you to bring anything you wish to have in your photos! Name signs, little shoes, onesies, chalk signs, accessories from your baby shower or home - they are all welcome to be a part of the moment! Props can personalize your session to celebrate your new addition!
WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK?
Maternity - every belly is different and every mama is different! I generally recommend booking between months 6-8 depending on how you want to be showing during your session. Everyone experiences pregnancy in their own way and this will determine at what time you want your image taken.
Newborn - within the first 7-14 days after birth. This can be a busy time so we will stay in touch and plan accordingly. I want you to have some time with your new love but capture them when they are still fresh and sleepy!
HOW DOES THIS WORK?
First, we will get your session day and time scheduled! We will talk about your vision and find the right location and time of day to achieve that look. I am here for help and any guidance I can offer before our time together. Second, we will meet, capture some beautiful moments, and enjoy this time! Then, I will retouch your images (I love to send sneak peeks!) and return a beautiful selection to you. You will receive your images through an online gallery to download your digital files, share, and purchase prints.
